The American Bull-Aussie is an intentional cross, not a kennel-club breed with a single written standard. Two dogs from the same pairing can differ in size, coat, and temperament, because each puppy inherits a different mix of traits from the contributing breeds.

An American Bull-Aussie mixes the American Bulldog with the Australian Shepherd. Build is medium to large: more muscle than a typical Aussie, more agility than a heavy Bulldog. The coat may be short or of medium length, sometimes with merle if that gene is present.
The Aussie side wants to work and watch; the Bulldog side adds power and a stubborn streak. They need a job and a fence. Merle-to-merle breeding is a health concern if both parents carry merle, so buyers should ask about the parents' colors.
