The Boglen Terrier is a Beagle crossed with a Boston Terrier. It is a small, short-coated companion, often tuxedo-marked, with a blunter face than a Beagle and more leg than a heavy Boston.
They bark and they follow a crumb. Heat limits hard exercise if the muzzle is short. They fit an apartment that will walk them and manage the voice. Training with food works; leaving food on the counter does not.
